This lesson teaches students how to apply the concept of the integral in order to calculate the volume of an object. Problems of this type involve a function that is revolved around the x-axis to make a three dimensional shape. The goal is to find the volume of this shape. The student is taught how to set up the problem and solve the integrals accordingly.
