This DVD looks at ways direct care staff can better understand and assist residents beyond physical needs. It gives tools to help staff evaluate resident needs, build a sense of trust and safety for the resident, and keep residents involved and engaged in life.
Caregivers will learn how they can boost quality of life for residents through:

The DVD also looks at ways staff can recognize depression, as well as, boost self-esteem by maintaining activities and cultureal connections that were a part of the resident's pre-admission life.
