COUNSELING, THE - GRIEF AFTER A SUICIDE: A 20-YEAR PERSPECTIVE
Keith Nokes, a young man who had everything to live for, committed suicide. His decision, his action, shocked and affected everyone who knew and loved him. His mother, Laura, faced the grief of her son in a courageous and meaningful way, for twenty years she dedicated herself to reaching out to others about suicide. This documentary, the second of two, continues her living testament to her son, while also reaching out to others about suicide and suicide prevention. Here, through sensitive interviews with family and friends of Keith's, twenty years after his death, we learn of their grieving process; also we hear answers to questions that range from how they felt after the incident, how their relationships with others were affected at the time, and how his death changed them.
