This program explores the unexpected and potentially dangerous results of drinking. For many middle schoolers, alcohol is their introduction to drug use. What they see as harmless experimentation can cause such serious consequences as unwanted sex, damaged reputations, family problems, physical injury, and falling grades.
Lucy narrates what happened to her and a group of her friends when they decided to stay overnight in their school building and have a "little party" that included lots of alcohol. Lucy reports how in their drunken state they caused some accidental property damage; how one teen's reputation suffers when, after drinking, she and a boy went off together and fell asleep; and how Darren broke his arm doing a stunt on a dare. The group is caught when Lucy has to call for medical assistance. Looking back, she calls the event a disaster, and asks viewers to learn about the negative effects of alcohol from her and her friends' mistakes.
