By Jan Krawitz
MIRROR MIRROR provocatively explores the relationship between a woman's body image and the quest for an idealized female form. 13 women, of varying age, size, and ethnicity, candidly reveal the ambivalence with which they regard their own bodies. The film incisively illuminates the vagaries in the concept of an "ideal" body type, thereby encouraging women to love and accept their own bodies. An excellent discussion starter for schools, hospitals, women's groups and women's studies classes.
