DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF ORAL LESIONS
Pathologic lesions of the mouth are common and may reflect underlying systemic diseases. The dentist is often the first to identify oral lesions, many of which are precancerous. A patient with a pathologic lesion will be evaluated to acquaint the viewer with the medical terminology used to accurately define a lesion and communicate its presence to those involved in the patient's care.

Dr. Heffez demonstrates the instrumentation required to obtain a biopsy, methodology of performing a biopsy and completion of the appropriate pathological forms.
