Plagiarism. It's the one act that can get a student expelled from the college of his or her choice, no questions asked. But what exactly constitutes plagiarism? If a student does not know he or she is doing it, is it still plagiarism? How does a student know whether or not he or she is committing this act of academic dishonesty? 2) The reasons someone may choose to plagiarize will be examined.
3) Students will find out about the different types of plagiarism, including omitting documentation and using pre-written work.
4) Students will learn strategies to avoid plagiarism such as practicing better time management and implementing proper research and documentation strategies.
