This program is designed to educate nurses and medical professionals on how donor potential is measured, how to identify and refer potential organ donors, and the many factors which should be considered in the consent process. Nurses and medical professionals will have a better understanding of their role in the organ donation process, as well as the role of the organ procurement organization.
