ALCOHOL FACTS: STRAIGHT UP
Two teen hosts present the unvarnished facts about alcohol while scenarios reveal the physical, emotional, and social consequences of drinking. Follow a group of teens who: give in to peer pressure to drink; use drinking as a way to ease uncomfortable feelings; are confronted with the choice of driving with someone who has been drinking; have family members who drink excessively.

Rachel is under pressure from Valerie, June, Pedro, and Steve to let them drink at her house. She goes against her better judgment and relents. Later they sneak out to town and Steve steals candy from a store. Rachel's mother catches them.

Sara responds to academic pressure by drinking. When drunk she flirts with her best friend's boyfriend and ruins their friendship.

Pedro's brother, who has been drinking, comes to pick Steve and Pedro up after a game. Steve makes the decision to call home for a ride instead of getting in the car.

Valerie is humiliated when her father, who is drunk, teases and embarrasses her friend June when she comes over to work on a project.
