COMPLEMENTARY CHILDCARE: DYSLEXIA AND DYSPRAXIA
Educational Psychologist Patricia Rouse guides us through this program on Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. We learn that Dyslexia is a learning disability, specifically in reading and spelling, while children with Dyspraxia have difficulty being in space, holding a pencil; also math skills and sport skills are affected.

In Part 1, we meet Hilary Groves, her daughter Melissa, who has dyslexia, and Gillian Hindshaw, a Brain Gym Consultant and Instructor, who explains the benefits of and exercises involved with educational kinesiology.

In Part 2, we meet Charlotte MacCaw, her son, Alexander, and Jessica Lough, a Neuro Development Therapist, whose behavioral therapy is helping the boy with his Dyspraxia. Next we meet Marla Coutts, her son, Elyas, and Pauline Allen, an Auditory Integration and Syntonics Practitioner, who uses sound and light remedies to help the boy with his Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
